6 years ago, Nick Hallam directed a 23 minute Star Wars-themed short "Broken Allegiance" and released it online. It was an immediate hit. Star Wars fans all over the world embraced the film for its story and impressive production values on a shoe string budget.
Shot for just $5,000, "Broken Allegiance" has since become one of the most popular online "fan films" and since 2002 has been downloaded a staggering 1.5 million times. Even today this non-profit film still averages more than 1,000 downloads per month.

Now Nick hopes to focus his directing skills and love for sci-fi on an original creation, "Welcome to the Cosmos". Along with writer/producer Vanessa Burt, development has progressed well and thanks to Film Victoria, we are presently in production of a pilot episode.
